International Students into Chinese Community Activity

On April 9th, College of International Education and the ECUST English for Academic Purposes Club jointly organized the activity theming "We are the word", and walked into Xintu community in Jingan District. International students interacted with community residents by learning traditional Chinese culture, and thereby deepened the relationship between the two sides.
25 students from all over the world as well as 21 Chinese students learned to make dumplings, calligraphy and Chinese knot from the enthusiastic and hospitable community residents. They also had lunch, played games, and gave performances together.
Students gained an experience of the rich Chinese culture in the joyful atmosphere and harvested the friendship in the exchanges, mutual cooperation and learning. In short, students have spent a meaningful weekend through this activity.
