Autumn, with the fragrance of laurel blossom wafting through the gentle wind, is a great time of the year. On October 15, the labor union of CIE organized the special activity named Happy education at Fengxian, Familyday-out leisure weekend.

In the morning, families arrived at the baking room of the Bioengineering department located in the laboratory building 7 on Fengxian campus and began their delicacy DIY in high spirits. Inspired by the ingenious housewives and with the active participation of children, pizza, roasted wings, crisps, cakes with raisins and nuts, and more were freshly made and enjoyed. The fresh and hot delicacy as well as children’s laughter gave the atmosphere an amiable and warm air.

Afterwards, they drove to visittheXishuisanmeng Ecological Village of Shanghai. It’s great fun for children to get exposed to nature by appreciating autumnal scenery while plucking sweet potato leaves and coriander together with their parents.They all said it’s a wonderful opportunity to interact and connect with each other, hoping more similar activities would be launched in the future.
